Grayson, KY 鈥 [2/25/2025] 鈥 星空无限传媒 (KCU) is excited to announce that the Keeran School of Bible & Ministry (KSBM) has officially secured programmatic accreditation from the prestigious Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE)!

This significant milestone reflects two years of diligent effort led by Dr. Rob Shoaff, Dean of the KSBM, in collaboration with Vicky Madden, Director of Institutional Assessment and Accreditation, and a dedicated team of faculty and staff. This achievement highlights KCU鈥檚 ongoing commitment to providing academically rigorous, biblically grounded education that equips students for meaningful leadership and ministry around the world.

“We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment, which represents not only the hard work of our team but also our steadfast commitment to equipping students for meaningful service in ministry and beyond,” said Dr. Rob Shoaff, Dean of the Keeran School of Bible & Ministry.

The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) exists to advance biblical higher education for Kingdom impact. As one of only two accrediting agencies focused solely on Christian institutions, ABHE empowers member schools to fulfill the Great Commission by offering transformational, experiential, and mission-driven education rooted in God鈥檚 Word. The ultimate goal: to go and make disciples.

KCU鈥檚 membership in the ABHE network鈥攕panning 161 institutions across North America鈥攇rants access to invaluable resources, leadership development opportunities, and programs such as Board Governance Training, recently attended by President Terry Allcorn and members of KCU鈥檚 Board of Trustees. This partnership will foster collaboration on curriculum development, best practices, and leadership, directly benefiting KCU鈥檚 students and faculty.

Dr. Terry Allcorn, President of KCU, shared his enthusiasm for this achievement:
“While we are proud of our continuing accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), we celebrate the programmatic accreditation of the Keeran School of Bible and Ministry by the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). They join the Keeran School of Education and the Yancey School of Nursing as schools that hold programmatic accreditation as part of their pursuit of excellence. Congratulations to Dean Rob Shoaff and the entire KSBM faculty! And congratulations to all across the campus who contributed to this wonderful accomplishment!鈥

This accreditation strengthens KCU鈥檚 commitment to advancing biblical higher education and reinforces its dedication to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and service.

Prepared to Go Make Disciples

鈥淭hank you Dr. Brickey for pouring so much time, love, and effort into my education to make sure that I became a nurse that is prepared to go make disciples for Christ. I will forever be grateful to you and the Yancey School of Nursing.鈥
